SYLFF Asia Pacific Regional Forum, 2007

In 2007 Jadavpur University organised the SYLFF Asia-Pacific Regional Forum which was sponsored by The Tokyo Foundation. This was a three-day event from 20 November – 22 November. Fellows from about forty-seven universities in the Asia Pacific region participated in this forum.
In congruence with the theme of the Regional Forum - Human Rights and Creative Leadership, a wide spectrum of activities were organised by the JU-SYLFF community at Jadavpur University. These included paper presentations, group discussions, poster exhibitions and social action. The objective of the SYLFF Asia-Pacific Regional Forum was to provide a platform to the young leaders to nurture their leadership potentials. It also aimed at creating a dialogue between researchers of the Asia-Pacific region working in the field of human rights for a better world.
